Five years after the vicious attacks and I wonder where this country is going.  The harmony and sense of purpose is a distant memory, replaced by political divisiveness and a dangerous unwillingness to accept the reality that we are in a fight for out lives.  Today terrorists have more rights than the day before the attack while the delusional leftists continue to blame America for all the world's ills.  The right isn't much better as some wrap themselves in the flag while ignoring the most basic concept of security like border control.

I still have the same anger, the same determination, and the same desire to protect my children.  We either give up and capitulate to the extremists or fight on.  We are not at war with Islam, we are at war with a distortion of Islam ... evil that uses religion as an excuse and a barrier.

Here are some links to a documentary done by MEMRI, the Middle East Media Research Institute, on Arab reaction to the attacks.

Since the attacks on September 11, 2001, The Middle East Media Research Institute has monitored, translated, and recorded what was said in the Arab and Iranian press about that day. Prominent journalists, members of academia, leading religious figures, and even Arab government officials helped shape conspiracies about what "really" happened.

The carefully documented collection is now available as a PDF and includes a compilation of articles and editorials from the mainstream Arabic and Persian language press, as well as transcripts from television programs.

A documentary film about the Arab and Iranian reaction to 9-11 incorporates footage from various TV and satellite stations in the Middle East. It was made with Interface Media Group and narrated by acclaimed actor Ron Silver.
