WILM 1450 AM
http://www.wilm.com/
Wilmington Delaware
History from WILM's website
In 1948, WILM was purchased by the Delaware Broadcasting Company, owned and operated by Ewing B. Hawkins. In 1972, his wife Sally was named General Manager and the station relocated from its King Street location to French Street, where it remains to this day.
In 1976, Sally V. Hawkins transformed WILM to one of the first locally owned and managed, All-News radio stations in a middle size market. Against all odds, the station then started its ascension towards fame thanks to Sally Hawkin's constant battle for an outstanding News product.
In 1992, E.B. Hawkins, son of Ewing and Sally Hawkins, entered the family business as General Manager. Sally remains President of the company.
E.B.'s first task was to redesign the Marketing department to match the excellence of WILM NEWSRADIO's award winning News department. Today, both the News and Marketing departments have reached a level of integrity, accuracy and reliability matched by no one else in the nation!
"Out of approximately 10,000 commercial radio stations throughout the nation, only about 15 are all-news outlets that employ substantial news staffs to report on what is happening in their communities. All but two of those are owned by CBS" One of the two is WILM, "the nation's only independently owned all-news radio station"

New Jersy 101.5 FM (WKXW)

Trenton, New Jersey
Simulcast on 1450 AM
Format: News in the morning, talk all day, music (leans to oldies) early am and weekends
"One of America's last great full-service radio stations, "New Jersey 101.5" booms a 50,000-watt signal out of Trenton on 101.5 (WKXW), plus a translator (simulcast) with another 50,000 watts out of Millville-Atlantic City on 97.3 (WBSS, the once-great "Boss 97"). Though the station does air some decent music at night, it leans heavily on talk during the day. (This is where the former WPHT "Jay & Hilarie show" began as a team.) comments by G.B.
Jim Gearhardt - 7 to 10 AM - News
Notes:
Scott Hasick and Casey Bartholomew left for WKRK - DETROIT in Spring 2002.
