The domain PhillyTalkRadioShow.com has pointed to various shows and concepts over the years. This is some background information and history.
As of 2007 there is no current Philly Talk Radio Show based or sourced from PhillyTalk.com.
March 2001 - The Philly Talk Radio Show is
not an original idea. It is based on a concept aired previously by Chris and George
(both dedicated radio professionals) on regular radio and show called "The Radio Radio Show" which was quite
popular in 1999-2000. Chris still retains the rights to that name and
concept.
Intent - The "Philly Talk Radio Show" is Philadelphia's first show that focuses on the format of talk radio and all things related. We discuss Radio, News, Stations, Reception, WebPages, Industry news, Resources, People, Hosts and more. The purpose of the Philly Talk Radio Show and the Netcast counterpart is to have some fun while spotlighting quality talk radio shows. The Philly Talk Radio Show is designed to help share the resources on this website. Among those are the Talk News Archives, Help Files, Industry Contact Info., and website building tips. A few shows were broadcast over the net in a couple incarnations just for fun. I don't "do radio" for a living and I don't possess the talent or motivation for doing such a show longterm. One fun trial was when Lycos let people run shows over their service. This experiment by Lycos crashed over legal issues and ended in September 2001. Here's a pic of me and my good friend Mark on the radio.
