China With a Warning (Based on Carolina in the Morning)
New lyrics by Steve Bryant
After the latest round of recalled toys from China and on top of dozens of potentially FATAL products reaching our shores from our dear Communist friends Steve penned and recorded yet another parody.
Also, I think this cartoon makes the point well.
Lyrics follow ...
Don’t want to be a whiner,
Why don’t toys that come from China
Have a warning?
They use so much damn lead,
The little kids could wind up dead,
Their folks in mourning.
China’s in its glory.
Thinks the war is won.
It’s really not that gory,
They’re killing us one-by-one.
Our pets were getting spastic,
‘Cause their food was filled with plastic,
By the Chinese.
They use lead in all their paint,
They slathered it on Barbie’s taint,
They’re such sleaze.
If they used a little less,
That would be fine.
The little buggers wouldn’t die,
They’d only go blind.
Don’t want to be a whiner,
Why don’t toys that come from China
Have a warning?
