Wake Up Call and Sugars

Here's your wake Up Call

⭐⭐ This one short video introduces you to how processed foods harm you by destroying insulin response. Every new diabetic was actually diabetic for 10 years or more before being diagnosed. How Diabetes 2 brings on cognitive decline or what is now being called Diabetes 3.
What We Eat is Directly Linked to Prediabetes - Here's Why - 6:05

Sugars - Not toxic like some of the more provocative videos suggest, just something you need to limit. For me, I avoid white sugar in foods like pasta sauce or deli meats and save it for treats like the occasional dessert.

🌟 First up is the definitive expose on sugar by Florida heart surgeon, Dr. Pradip Jamnadas. Highly processed foods and cane sugar have the same ill effects on your health. An occasional treat is fine but sugar in everything is slowly killing you.
It's long, I haven't found a short version, so watch the first 10 minutes of the introduction and lecture goals and you'll be hooked to finish it later.

Sugar alternatives and why I recommend Stevia / Erythritol. The video skips to the part where he charts the different sweeteners but the whole thing is good.
Allulose is covered at 8:50 - An OK occasional substitute used in some baking products/formulas
Erythritol & sugar alcohols are covered at 12:00. My personal choice confirmed in the video is Erythritol.
Most Stevia products are a blend of a small amount of Stevia blended with Erythritol.
I will also use half a teaspoon of local raw honey in green tea. (Thanks Kim)
