Laura Ingraham (www.lauraingraham.com) has been off the air pending resolution of contract negotiations with TRN (Talk Radio Network).
Laura's show is carried here in Philly on WNTP 990-AM Mon. - Fri. at 9am. Initially, her network has substitute hosts but today the station ran the Mike Gallagher show live, normally his show is tape-delayed to 3am. The show today sounded at times like it was being broadcast from inside a fish bowl and the announcer made it seem like Mike was a guest host. They were careful to cut the beginning and the end of his segments to eliminate his saying, "You're listening to the Mike Gallagher Show." From a technical standpoint, it was awful.
Her website featured a plea to her loyal listeners calling them to action.
Here is the text of that message that has since been removed...
NOTE TO LAURA LISTENERS
Due to contractual obligations, for the present time I am unable to reveal why I am not currently hosting The Laura Ingraham Show. Rest assured, this absence is not of my choosing, nor is it health or family related. I am ready, willing and eager to continue the conversation we started seven years ago about politics and the culture. (Heck, if cancer couldn't keep me off the airwaves for long, nothing will.) Keep checking the site for a schedule of my appearances on the Fox News Channel. All queries regarding my on-air status should be directed to Talk Radio Network's management at 541 474 2297 or send an email. Thanks for sticking with me, and...Power to the People!
